You will receive a pass/fail as soon as the test is over. My results were also emailed to me the next day. If you want your results sooner like me, you can go back to the Pearson Vue webpage where you took the exam from, on the right hand side it will say something like "exam results", something like that and you can view the actual results on the Pearson Vue site. The test results won't sync up with PMI's website for a few days.
