TOPIC: Passed Exam on the 1st Attempt

Hi everybody. Today I've passed PMP examination on the 1st Attempt! 4 AT and 1 T (surprise for me but it's Closing)

Some background - preparation was started on 15th of December 2019. My preparation included:
1. PMBOK (read 2 times)
2. Rita Mulcahy (read 2 times)
3. Simulator from Cornelius Fichtner
4. Free exam 200 q. from Oliver Lehmann

In everage, I was spending 2-3 hours daily, during almost 3 months...

My opinion on the exam:
Exam questions was a bit more complicated than PM PrepCast simulator questions. Fortunately, exam questions wasn't too wordy. To be honest, I've expected something different: almost all exam questions was situational, no questions on EV/PV or any formulas. No questions regarding ITTO and only one question regarding critical path.

Current thoughts about my preparation plan:
1. PMBOK (read 2 times) - not sure that it is MUST
2. Rita Mulcahy (read 2 times) - was very helpful
3. Simulator from Cornelius Fichtner - was extremelly helpful
4. Free exam 200 q. from Oliver Lehmann - also was very useful

Learning of ITTO wasn't necessery. At least, for my exam. As for PM Prepcast Simulator from Cornelius Fichtner - I've taken PMP Exams 5 times on 80% (all the times) and ITTO with 60%.

Congratulations! We’re happy to read in the forum that you passed.

My experiences were similar to yours in a few ways:
the majority of my questions gave me a story problem or situation to solve, I had one simple float problem, and I only had a couple of questions that specifically asked for an ITTO.

I also found the Cornelius’ PM Exam Simulator very helpful, too.
