I would highly recommend that you take the exam even if you are not scoring 70% above on the prepcast tests. Majority of my scores were in the 65-75% range.

I would say that the actual PMP exam was easier, so the prepcast simulator is excellent training material for the actual exam.

Are you saying you passed the test then?
Many folks have passed with lower scores and others have not; it really is up to the individual to determine their confidence level.
My personal experience is that the PMI test was slightly harder, only because the questins were a bit more cryptic, so to speak.

Yes, I passed!. The questions on the prepcast simulator were more tricky than the final exam. The secret was practising the exam questions on the simulator, that helped a lot!
