No amount of memorization would prepare one for the actual exam. The actual exam questions were mostly situational and required understanding of the PM concepts and processes mentioned. I did memorize the 47 processes and some formulas, but I didn't memorize ITTO. I didn't read the PMBOK but what I did were:
- Read Head First PMP
- Watched the PM PrepCast videos
- Took 8 paid exam simulators that came bundled with the PM PrepCast
- Studied everyday (even if it was just 1-2 hours)
- Prepared a 1-page brain dump materials
I didn't take any boot camp/course as I was trying to save money and I am proud to say that my hard work has paid off.
