Took the PMP exam yesterday and I am very happy to write that I passed!
This is my 2nd attempt and I was very nervous however I was determined to accomplish my goal in attaining my certification by this year.
1st Attempt:
- Took a 4 day bootcamp
- Revise through binder/notes/flashcards
- Memorized formulas and 47 processes
- did not read PMBOK
Result: FAIL :'(
2nd Attempt:
- Purchased PM Exam Simulator
- Took all 9 mock exams and scored btw 73%-86%
- Read PMBok twice
- Read Rita's twice
- Extra focus on Integration, Risk, Change Control, Closing
- On the day of exam i skimmed through Integration, Risk, Change Control, Closing again
Result: PASS

- i literally teared when I saw the word "Congralutions!!"
Questions were mostly on Communications, Stakeholder, HR, Risk, Change Control and Closing steps (What would a PM do next? What would a PM do before? What would a PM use? etc)
My saving grace was the PM Prepcast! Thank you Cornelius Fichtner and team for creating this mock exams. If i knew this was so helpful, I would not have wasted time on a bootcamp and jumped straight to the prepcast/simulator.
Now to face the real world!
Thank you.
