I passed the PMP exam on 28 Nov 2013 (first try).

What I did:

1. Bought PM prepcast in December 2012. Went thru it once.

2. Attended a local PMP preparation training course in August 2013.

3. Studied on 27 Nov 2013 beginning 10pm using the training notes until 5am the next day and slept at 5am.

4. Referred to Rita's book for formulas tips and tricks.

5. Woke up on the exam day at 10am and reach the prometric centre at 12pm.

6. Started the exam at 1pm.

7. Passed the exam with 4 MP and 1 BP.

In summary, I believe understanding the formulas and having enough experiece did the trick for me. I guess luck also played a big part .
