TOPIC: PMP exam preparations: lesson learned

I cleared my PMP exam today.
I stared PMP exam preparation in April-2010. It took me 4 months to pass the exam. I also got audited for the exam by PMI.

Here is the process which I followed for preparing for the PMP exam.

1. I stared with PMPrepcast and simultaneously read the PMP exam. Prepcast is such a wonderful tool created by cornelius that it makes PMP preparation a fun exercise. I made some notes while listening to the Prepcast
2. After that I read Rita Mulcahy's exam preparation guide.
3. I also solved a lot of sample exam questions. For this I used PMP Fastrack.
4. During last few days of my preparation I mostly solved question and also listened to some of the chapters of the prepcast like Network Diagrams, Earned Value techniques.

Prepcast helped to realize one thing: PMP exam is easy if you manage the preparation well.
