TOPIC: Passed PMP on 8th April 2010 - Passed on 1st try

Dear All,

I have just passed the PMP exam and as you can imagine i am elated.

Tips for people who are studying to sit the exam, here is how i prepared...

1)Registered for PMP eligibilty, and got it shortly afterwards.
2) Bought the PMP Prepcast, watched/listened to the prepcast
3) most valuable of all where the PMP newsletters from Cornelius, these have great tips, and pointers that guide you through the PMP maze, and give the best insights to aid in your exam prep.
4) Read Rita Mulcahy's PMP Exam Prep twice (6th edition)
5) Then sat lots of practice questions to enforce the knowledge and understanding of the concepts

The practice questions i used where PMP Fastrack by Rita Mulcahy and ReadySetPass website, thats all i needed.

The PMP newsletter is an amazing source of valuable tips, the best one was to memorize p43 of the PMBOK guide.
