1. Watched all PM PrepCast videos and took notes, following along in the PMBOK Guide. Never really read the PMBOK guide all of the way through.
2. Started taking practice exams right away. Reviewed the questions I got wrong to determine my weaknesses and created flash cards to reinforce those specific areas.
3. Reviewed the PMP Test Outline multiple times.
4. Created a list of processes in a logical sequence as well as a list of ITTOs, their definitions, where they are created, used, updated, etc. Didn’t study it, but creating it was great for learning.

Were I to do it over again, I think I would read the PMBOK through once, then create my list of processes and ITTOs, and then just watch the PM PrepCast straight through. Cornelius provides great insight and context which are not easy to glean from the PMBOK guide and that I wish were fresher in my mind for the test. Then I’d do practice tests and create flash cards.

Don’t skimp! Get the PM PrepCast and the PMP Exam Simulator. Both are great!
