If you are looking into this forum for tips, you were me 2 weeks ago! There is a lot of great advice in this forum! Here is how I passed the first time (4 above targets, 1 target).

I started studying 5 months before test date. Project management is a broad subject and I started reading a chapter of Rita's book a week. Honestly that book didn't help me much, but I didn't realize how little until I came across this PMP Exam Simulator. Between this PMP Exam Simulator and the Ricardo Vargas process video on YouTube, it was pure gold! How you should use this simulator:
Take a quiz in learning mode at least once a day, 50 questions. Read ALL the response explanations, not just the one for the response you selected. Take 1 full practice exam once a week in learning mode if you have time before the exam. I bought the PMP Exam Simulator 10 days before my test so I was in speed mode. I took a practice test every other day. It's very important you practice sitting for 4 hours and learning your behaviors.
So once you took quite a few quizzes and a practice test or two, in quiz mode select the option "only include answers I got wrong" and retake that quiz as many times as it takes for you to answer those correctly.

The morning of my test I woke up 3 hours early, watched Ricardo's 1 hour video on youtube for a final polishing and then I took quiz after quiz until test time. Do what works for you- I'm a crammer through and through.

The exam questions are very similar to the PMP Exam Simulator. On the test mark any questions that take you over 1 minute to answer and move on. Come back to those during review. Once you make a full pass, review all questions.

The remote experience was a little weird. As an FYI once you check in you can't leave your desk so make sure you use the bathroom before. My Proctor didnt introduce themselves, I just jumped right into the test.

So in short, take many quizzes in learning mode and watch Ricardo varga every other day or at least once a week. Use the PMBOK to fill in any gaps in knowledge.

Yes the test really is hard but not impossible!!! Good luck!
