Hi,

I gave my PMP exam this afternoon and finally got the "Congratulations" message at the end of the exam. This is what I used for preparation and being confident about the test
1. HEADFIRST Book, read this book cover to cover
2. PMBOK 6th edition, read many sections of it but ONLY after I started giving MOCK exams. I could sense it that PMBOK reading is important and in retro if I had to start this again I would have started with PMBOK first.
3. Had a study group at my workplace, we met twice a week for last 8 weeks and did some preparations/discussions together, that TOTALLY put me accountable.
4. Gave mock tests from Head first & Oliver Lehman.
5. Important one - I watched a LOT of Youtube videos, I am visual learner and evidently those helped me way more than the text in the books
Recommended videos -
a. Ricardo Vargas
b. PMPwithRay (This was an AMAZING resource, highly recommended)
6. Because of time constraint on my end, I could not finish all 8 mock tests from PREPCAST. I finished 3 of them and 4th one being ITTO's and kept scoring 70% in each of those mock tests.

I somehow realized that I've learnt what I have and any more learning is not really making any significant change in mock tests. I was still pretty confident with 70% in mock tests and went ahead to schedule my exam with total of those 6 mock tests given.

Now coming to exam - the exam questions were a LOT different from Prepcast mocks, but the Prepcast mocks simply prepares you with all the knowledge required to answer those PMI exam unique situational questions.
And hence, I am grateful to all who recommended to do Prepcast and just schedule a date - which I did and passed :)

Thanks a lot everyone for your support!
