I just scheduled my online exam as well as, and noticed that alert before scheduling my exam. I contacted PMI via chat, and they made the updates which went to effect immediately on the dashboard! This step is indeed very important.

My interpretation is: Upon exam registration write all of your names present on your ID card.
I registered myself last month and put all of my names. Additionally, I checked it with PMI Support Desk to make sure that all of my names appear in their system.

I would recommend you to try the Online Support Desk on the PMI website to try and change your name. I used it multiple times and every time got the help I needed. It is also available during the weekend.

Hi, I was just about to schedule for my exam, and read one of the policy's about ID verification that says "the name on the registration must match the names on the Government-issued ID exactly. Please verify that your name listed on your confirmation email matches your identification." My registered name ID on PMI only has first and last name, however, my ID's have a middle name, does anyone know this would be a problem? If so where do I change this on PMI website before I schedule for the exam?
