If an attempt is made to amend or modify any project document / project artifact which is not a part of configuration control , then it should be processed by raising a CR (Type: Update ) or should be
done outside integrated change control?

If a project document was not identified in Configuration Control, a change request is not required.

For example, the issue log is typically not under Configuration Control, you don't need to submit a change request for changing the color of the fonts in the document.
