Tina,
You are correct. The exam has indeed undergone a major shift to more situational questions. However, our PM Exam Simulator has got you covered, because PMI has been working on this switch for quite some time prior to the Sixth Edition.
So in the course of updating our questions from V5 to V6 we have had a team of 7 PMPs review and update each and every question. Our goal was to ensure that our questions are a true representation of what you can expect on the exam. In fact, as the first lessons learned & feedback came in, we saw that PMI has made a few more changes (some technicalities, some conceptual), and we then decided to do a SECOND review of the questions to align them to what you see.
The easiest way for you to confirm this is to look at our customer testimonials:
- Visit
www.project-management-prepcast.com/
- Scroll down just a bit until you see the first three testimonials
- Click on any of the testimonials and then the complete list of about 150 testimonials will open on the left.
Currently, this list is a mix of both PrepCast training and PMP Simulator testimonials. But if you scan just a few you'll see that our students who used the simulator say that we are "very close to the real thing".
Until Next Time,
Cornelius Fichtner, PMP, CSM
