TOPIC: Rita Mulcahy states intitial estimates are in input to Risk Mgmnt and detailed estimates are an output of Risk Mgmnt

Hi - Rita states that on page 412 (for those who have the book). Would someone be able to walk me through what that looks like..and how that ties into the ITTOs for Risk Management? I'd like to understand that concept. Perhaps the detailed estimates are captured in the Project Management Plan Updates (which is an output of Plan Risk Responses)? I see a few (non-PMBOK language) sentences. Thanks!
