TOPIC: Examples of Communication Models

The PMBOK guide talks of communication models, but discusses only the Basic Communication Model (Sender-Receiver).

Does the PMP exam have questions on other communication models? RIta Mulcahy mentions in passing "More complicated communication models exist", but does not elaborate.

What are some of the other communication models out there?

The PMBOK Guide only references the sender-receiver model and I did not experience any other type of model on my exam. I also have not talked to anyone else who has seen a different communication model on the PMP Exam. That being said, be sure to know all of the different components of the sender-receiver model as well as your communication methods (push, pull, interactive) and number of communications channels equation.
