TOPIC: Resource Calendar seems to be an output so late in the project, how could it be used in Planning in a timely manner?

How is it that the resource calendar is an input to planning much earlier? It seems like the calendar would be an output much earlier so it can be used.... Wouldn't there be a delay to wrap up Estimates Activity Resources, Estimating Activity Duration, Develop Schedule, or Determine Budget?

To paraphrase Rita - I just read this today - The Acquire Project team should be viewed as Acquire "Final" Project Team. Early on in the Project timeline, some of the key teammates have already been assigned to assist with the important Planning Tasks you mention.
