TOPIC: Exam-Simulator Question about one choice on a Scop

I just took my first 10-question quiz on Scope.

Question 6 was: Information in the WBS does not include?

A - Contract information
B - Quality requirements
C - Responsible organization
D - Project activities

As with most questions I've seen, there is an obvious wrong answer or two, and if one is not obviously the correct answer, then it comes down to choosing your best guess between two.

I chose A, but the right choice was D.

I am wondering if choice A should have been "Contact information" instead of "Contract information."

Obviously Contact information is in the WBS; but (to me) just as obviously, things involving Contracts are not part of the WBS.

This question comes straight from the PMBOK Guide. Please check PMBOK Guide version 4 page 122. You will see that "contRact information" is part of the WBS Dictionary.

The real giveaway is this: The WBS and the WBS dictionary are DELIVERABLE oriented and not TASK oriented. Therefore "project tasks" are not part of the WBS / WBS dictionary.
