Ramakrishna,

Please always state where you found questions when you are posting them in our forums.

Also... why are you posting it here? Do you just need to know the answer or do you have any troubles identifying the correct answer?

Since the Question is particular about knowledge area.

i just wanted to confirm is the Answer D is correct? Since A. Develop Project Management Plan is a Process.

The correct answer is A. Management Plans are developed in Project Integration Management. The Schedule Management Plan is an input to the processes in the Project Time Management KA. Rita addresses "implicit" plans for Scheduling in her book under Time Management. A Schedule Management Plan is not the same as a Project Schedule.

Develop Project Management Plan is a process found in the Project Integration Management KA.

Just my 2 cents.

A is a process not a knowledge area so it's not A
Obviously not B or C
D is the correct answer, although the PMBOK calls the knowledge area Schedule, not time (in the 6th Edition). I believe it was called Time in earlier editions, which leads me to believe you received this question from an outdated source.
