TOPIC: Help Needed to Answer Another Sample Question

Hi,

I would appreciate other people's thoughts on the following question taken from Ten Step’s ReadySetPass Exam Simulator:

Which is not an output of the Close Project or Phase process? Choose one answer.

A. Organization process asset updates
B. Final product, service or result transition
C. Historical Information
D. Updated project management plan

Author says correct answer is D. Updated project management plan.

According to the PMBOK Guide however the outputs of the Close Project or Phase process are:

4.6.3.1 Final Product, Service, or Result Transition
4.6.3.2 Organisational Process Assets Updates:
• Project files (including project management plan
• Project or phase closure documents
• Historical information

It seems to me that ALL answers are correct. Is this one of those questions looking for the worst possible answer? Or did the author slip up on this occasion?

In a situation like this I always recommend to discuss it directly with the creators of the question. I am certain that the ReadySetPass folks will be happy to explain or to admit if there is truly an error in the question.
