Hi Laman,

You can include both projects in your application. However, you must ensure that you only report the periods that do not overlap. As clearly stated in the Credential Handbook, you cannot.
List overlapping projects in your application.
If this approach doesn’t work well for your application, you also have the option to break down your long-term project into several sub-projects in your description. This is legitimate, especially
If you’re concerned that a single project might not be sufficient.

Hello,
I would appreciate advice on how to accurately describe my project experience in my PMP application.
I previously worked in the insurance broking industry and was part of the placement teams for two renewable energy projects. I was the Coordinator of the local team while my colleagues in London managed the overall insurance program. One of the projects spanned 46 months, and I have included this experience in my application. At the same time, I was handling another energy project that lasted 23 months. Since both projects overlapped, I’m uncertain whether I should list both experiences in the application. On the other hand, I believe showing only one project could be a red flag for PMI.
Both projects are quite similar in scope and objectives.

Thank you in advance for your guidance.
