Samantha,

The simulator for this course has over 2000 questions and is robust enough to prepare you for the test. I wouldn't pay for another one if you're already paying for this one.

It will also explain your correct and wrong answers and give you a scoring of each domain to show you your weak points. Also, it will show you the percentage chance you have to pass on the first, second, or third attempts.

The test is hard, but not so hard that you need to over prepare and waste additional resources. If you want a cheap simulator, I believe PMP for Dummies has a full test in it also while remaining cheap.

In my personal opinion, you don't need to try too many other simulators to pass the test.

If you want one that mimics the real thing, I'd recommend the PrepCast PMP Exam Simulator.

It's got realistic questions and detailed explanations, which helped me prepare well. Honestly, there were others but PrepCast was my go-to. It's not free, but don't waste time on them, this one's it's worth the investment.

Hey! Sounds like you’re really committed to nailing that PMP exam!

When I was prepping, I found PM PrepCast super helpful. Their simulator felt incredibly close to the real deal. Also, creating my own questions or flashcards on specific topics I was weaker at helped exercise my knowledge a lot on the area.

Have you also tried mixing in timed sessions to build your exam stamina? That made a big difference for me!

Samantha,

Please take a look over here: www.project-management-prepcast.com/kune...-pmp-exam-simulators

Markus and Kevin replied to your question, but somehow, their responses ended up "disconnected" from this discussion thread here.

The PrepCast simulator has around 2000 questions in it and I found it just a bit harder than real PMI exam. It was very flexible when I used it back in 2019 during my preparations for the PMP exam in that you could select certain domains to get the questions from and also select questions that you haven's seen. It was quite robust and I was satisfied with the product.

I also use a resource called "Head First PMP" that was quite helpful. It was a book (available on Amazon) and it had a lot of questions in it with explanations.

I do not know of any other simulators available, but I'm sure they exist. I would be very surprised if they were more robust than the PrepCast simulator though.

Good luck!

Hey guys,

I'm on that learning stage where I gotta take some practice tests to exercise my learnings. I want to practice more outside what's in SH, what PMP exam simulator did you find most helpful?

I’m looking for something that mimics the real exam as closely as possible. If you’ve used any free ones that were worth it, I’d love to hear your recommendations!

Thanks in advance! :)
