I am feeling a bit defeated and not sure if I will be making my 2nd attempt at the exam. The exam stimulator questions are very difficult but when I took the exam, I went in with so much uncertainty. While taking the exam, I felt pleasantly surprised and confident. I ended up losing track of time and din't complete the exam, so I knew I wasn't going to pass. I left the exam trying to figure out how to pick up my speed, but after seeing my results I received mostly Low and Medium in the Domain areas. Not knowing how many questions I got correct and incorrect, leaves me very confused and not knowing how to continue my prep for my second try at taking the exam.

Is it possible to speak with someone or is everything through this chat forum?

It's normal to feel a little down after failing an exam. But you now know how the exam works in terms of time constraints and the mechanics. You also know how the questions are worded and the difficulty level you'll be facing. So in that respect, you have gained a lot of insight to the exam.

Unfortunately, this forum is all virtual and does not offer a real-time chat or call feature. You might try to look for a PMI "Local Section" if you want to speak with someone personally.

Good luck on your next attempt!

Hey, I just want to say I admire your determination for even making it through the first attempt! It looks like you’ve gained some valuable insights, especially on time management.

For your second attempt, maybe focus on practicing with timed quizzes or shorter exam simulations to get your pacing down. Also, reviewing those Low and Medium domain areas with targeted resources or joining study groups could make a big difference.

Goodluck! Hope you found someone to personally speak to.

Hi Andrei,
I can completely understand feeling disheartened after failing the exam.
You haven't mentioned exactly how you went about with practice tests prior to the exam, so that may prevent anyone from being able to offer accurate advice on what you might have missed (if anything).
However, I do believe in the power of practice. With enough practice tests, and continuous tracking of your performance, you can definitely go into the next exam feeling confident.

I would recommend focusing on time management the next time round - making sure you have more than enough time to review your answers too.
Please make good use of the "flag" options so that you can return to questions you want to review without wasting any time on them.
