TOPIC: PMP Exam : Need Help : False Certificate and Court Order : PM Do Next?

Hi All,

Please guide me on what would be the best answer to choose from PMP exam perspective

1. Question 1: There is a court order to cease and desist for a project. What should the PM do NEXT or FIRST?
a. Should the PM immediately terminate the project
b. Seek approval from sponsor to Terminate the project?
I understand the project needs to be terminated since it’s a court order but some places the logic says that PM does not have authority to terminate the project so he must seek approval What to select in PMP exam?

2. Question 2: An employee has used false certificates. What should PM do NEXT or FIRST?
a. Remove the employee from the team
b. Consult the resource management plan for next steps?
This is unethical and action must be taken and there is no work around it but should the PM remove the team member right away or consult some document / raise a change request type of action for “What to do First or Next”?
