TOPIC: We're improving the simulator main page on 2021-Jan-04. New layout here.

On 2021-Jan-04 we will be releasing a new and improved simulator main page (that's the page from where you start a quiz or exam). We are making two improvements to the layout (the number 1 and 2 of the attached shot correspond to the description below):

Improvement 1: More emphasis on Quizzes: Many exam candidates are finding it hard to free up enough time to take a full simulated exam. So instead they prefer to take shorter quizzes. The simulator has always offered these short quizzes, but they were near the bottom of the page. The new page will now feature the short quizzes above the exams and they are highlighted with a heading.

Improvement 2: We added a small heading above the link to open the statistics page.

And just to be clear: Both changes are only changes to the layout of the page and not to the existing functionality. Everything still works exactly the same. We just moved things around on the page to accommodate how exam candidates are actually using the simulator.

I have one additional note for those of you who are using PMP Exam Simulator 2021, and this is unrelated to the layout changes that we will release in January:

Did you know that the PMP Simulator 2021 now has a separate question pool for Quizzes and Exams? PMP Simulator 2021 has 1,100 questions in the quizzes question pool, and another 1,000 questions in the exams question pool. Totally separate from each other.

In this way, you can first focus on taking quizzes (for example per domain or knowledge area), and later on, when you take your first full exam you can be certain that you will only see new questions.

Note that the separate quiz pool is only available for PMP. CAPM and PMI-ACP will continue to have a shared quiz pool for the foreseeable future.

Generally speaking: If you qualify for an automatic and free upgrade then you will see the Simulator 2021 appear in your account over the coming 3-5 days. We have over 11,000 accounts to process and are doing them in batches.

awesome, under the quizzes I have no subscriptions. Can you please provide some guidance? I do have access to the exams

I looked at your account and from what I can tell it is set up correctly. So you should be seeing both Premium Quizzes and Premium Exams. But... you don't have access to the Free Simulator.

So please check again. Most likely you are seeing "No subscription" in the Free section of the page.

If that is not the case, please take a screen shot of the page and send it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Tell them to assign the ticket to me personally.

I was able to access the PMP Exam Simulator 2021 yesterday 01/05/2021 however, I am not seeing it in my course selection anymore.

Is there a known issue?
