Josh,
Yes., what you are seeing looks pretty normal. As you may know, I am a member of PMI-OC myself and so that is exactly the type of payment that I've been making: For two years I pay the PMI membership and PMI-OC membership, and then every third year I also pay the PMP renewal fee:
- Year 1 and 2: $129 + $35 = $164
- Year 3: $129 + $35 + $60 = $224
(A very long time ago, PMP renewal was free. But alas, that is no longer the case...)
I cannot tell you what the Company Code / Voucher fields are for. I never used them, but I assume it is used in cases where PMI offers special discounts to companies. But that's really just a guess. Does anyone else know?
In the end, there is really just one way to save money here, and that is by NOT being a PMI/PMI-OC member. But that means that you will have to pay the "non-member" fee whenever you attend a dinner meeting, seminar or conference. And over time that will in fact become more expensive than paying the yearly fees.
Until Next Time,
