TOPIC: Can Excel Training count toward PDUs?

I took a 7 hour Intermediate Class on Excel. Since this definitely helps increase my technical skills, can this count as PDUs? I was thinking it could count towards Ways of Working and Business Acumen. Should I count all hours, what do you suggest?

To me, I think that would be a dubious claim. There is a Continuing Certification Requirements handbook available from PMI that may help.

If the course was directly linked to Project Management applications then I am sure there will be some hours you might be able to claim as PDUs, but you will need to back up your claim and it must fit with one of the categories for PDUs. All the best.
