TOPIC: CAPM Exam vs. PrepCast Training Course

I understand the CAPM exam is based on the content in the PMBOK guide.

In the training course, I have found some of the items explained in greater detail than what is included in the PMBOK. For example, under Project Quality Management Overview - Part 1, the six sigma levels is explained and then discusses how the values work (1 Sigma = 68.27; 2 Sigma = 95.45). Since I couldn't find these details referenced in the PMBOK, my assumption is this particular additional detail would not need to be memorized for the CAPM.

Can you confirm if my assumption is correct?

The CAPM exam is based on the content of the PMBOK(R) Guide. Six Sigma does get a mention, but not how the values work. I think if you understand that Six Sigma is a quality technique, that would be enough for the exam.
