Student Profile: Mark Anthony Kamdon, PMP, REE
I owe my PMP to OSP International and by that it is always a pleasure to share whatever information i could share to help other OSP PMP Students/PMP aspirants pass their PMP Examination.
I am a Registered Electrical Engineer from Philippines and presently working in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Arabian Parsons Limited as Resident Construction Engineer for Royal Commission - Yanbu.
But before joining SAPL way back July, 2012, I was a Project Manager in Philippines for almost 8 years in a Japanese Firm engaged in the Construction of Residential & Commercial Buildings, Power Plants and Manufacturing Plants.
Aside from watching Mr. Cornelius PM Prepcast Videos, the first thing that I studied really was the Table 3-1 of the PMBOK Guide and the ITTOs of the 47 Processess. If you understand how to use the formulas and you know and understand by heart the ITTOs, it would be easy then to understand the concept of Project Management, particularly, the objective and concept of the PMBOK Guide.
I highly recommend really for PMP students to take the PM Prepcast Exam Simulator and use this in your preparation. For me, I took sample exams every day for One ( 1 ) month before my PMP exam. Take the 200 full exam questions every other day, as if you are taking the actual exam. No breaks. My purpose on this is to condition myself physically and mentally and to improve my endurance to take the full 4 hours exam. Then in my last week prior to exam, every morning, after i woke up, my wife and i would practice the ITTOs. She ( holding the Table 3-1 and the ITTOs ) will asked me in random what are the ITTOs of any of the 47 processess she would choose and i will just answer her and she will tell me if it is correct or wrong. Then in the evening, I just took really the Full Exam No. 1 to 9 of the PM Prepcast Exam Simulator. I think it works because i passed my PMP Exam on my first take.
Hope this ideas I have shared will be helpful to those who are aspiring to become PMP like me. I am indeed very happy really that I took the PM Prepcast and the Exam Simulator of Mr. Cornelius. It was really absolutely very helpful.
