Student Profile: Nupur Jain, PMP
I am an IT professional, working as a Project manager/ Business Analyst for the last 4 years. I have worked in varied industries like Banking, Financial Services, Legal and IT. My foundation stems from my degree in Business Administration.
I considered having PMP Certification because I believe in learning and collecting knowledge from everywhere I can. As I got to know about the PMP certification from my friend, I searched it online and went ahead with it as it serves my personal goal as well as help me in with career too.
The most difficult part of my PMP studies? The content is really dry and you have to find some interesting ways to learn the whole thing. The PrepCast and Rita Mulcahy's book serves the purpose.
When I was searching online for the ways to get the required 35 contact hours, I found The PM PrepCast. What is missing from The PM PrepCast? I just feel, Prep cast could provide more Sample Tests and Practice questions.
My #1 recommendation for those studying for the exam is “Take as many sample tests as possible”. PMBOK and Rita Mulcahy together make a great combination for the PMP studies and that Combined with Prep cast and sample tests, is Perfect!
