Student Profile: Tonyia Pritchard, PMP
I am an IT professional with over 19 years of IT experience in the field. The last 8 years I have been in management, particularly in Project Management. I am a Certification Addict. When I am not studying for a certification, I love spending my time either on the soccer field or softball field...my two passions are watching my girls play.
I think it is extremely important for the PMP handbook to be right beside you as a reference and follow-on study after each module you go through in the PrepCast. What I would do is watch the module, take the Exam simulator 10 questions quiz in the knowledge area I was in. I would look up my wrong answers in the PMPGuide. I would only do 10 questions at a time.
What do I recommend that other students do in the last week before they are scheduled to take the exam?
Questions Questions Questions. You cannot answer enough questions! The last week I would up my 10 questions to 20, then 50. Two days before my exam I took the mock exam. I did EXACTLY what Mr. Cornelius stated...line out the wrong answers. I found that when I lined them out, they were no longer obstacles. Do 50 questions get up and stretch for a few minutes...repeat!
